What is a Workers Center?

Worker centers are defined as community-based and community-led organizations that engage in a combination of service, advocacy, and organizing to provide support to low-wage workers.

Why start an LGBTQ focused Worker’s Center?

In addition to the everyday difficulties workers face in the United States LGBTQ people also face systematic discrimination in the workplace based on who they love and their gender expression. This discrimination has effected the pockets of LGBTQ people and their families. We have to organize now for a better future tomorrow. 

Why the emphasis on Trans, Black, and People of Color Workers?

We lead by centering the historically most oppressed workers within our community. We believe that ALL workers thrive when we lift up Trans, Black and People of Color workers in our fight for economic justice.
